Meet the Photographer
Aloha!
My name is Mikki. I am born and raised here on Oahu; I am married and we are a blended family of 13. I attended Honolulu Community College and UH of Manoa where I majored in Social Work. It is during my time at HCC that I took photography classes and grasped the technical skills behind the lens and computer.
Before opening Mikki B Photography in 2016, I assisted my husband with his videography and photography for several years. I primarily shoot with my Canon 6D and my backup camera is the Canon 60D.
The main objective of Mikki B Photography is to provide a photography experience that creates classic imagery that are worthy to be displayed in your home. Our portraits will last for generations. We will work together to get your session planned and photographed. Then I will hand edit each image to remove blemishes, enhancing the landscape and bring out the best colors; this takes 2-3 weeks to complete. I will upload the images to a online gallery and you have one week to pick your favorite images and select a collection. Lastly, I will order your mounted 5x7's and USB of images in a Keepsake Box. If on-island, I will hand deliver to your home or mail the Keepsake Box to you.
